Take a look at your thoughts, values, and opinions. Become aware of the expectations you have of yourself and of others. How much of this have you learned from others?
Seeking the truth through a viewpoint is like looking out only one window of your home. That is, you will clearly see the wonderful outdoors, but you will only see it through your select viewpoint. Only seeing it a certain way.
In doing so, your view will always be right and others will be wrong. The problem with this is that others, with a different viewpoint, will feel the same way.
Both of you are witnessing the same wondrous world, but because of your mental positions, there will never be peace. The entire truth will never be revealed to either one of you.
Viewpoints = your way / my way
Your way / my way = right / wrong
Right / wrong = no peace
No peace = turmoil, chaos, no truth.
Cease to seek value in viewpoints or mental positions.

There are currently thousands of faith groups worldwide. Add to that all the individual interpretations of each faith, its texts and beliefs. Add to that all of the past beliefs that are now categorized as mythology. When does a belief become mythology? When does a viewpoint become the truth?
In our world, when individuals express their beliefs, their statements are often seen as opinion. However, when a group of people agree to adopt the same belief, it is deemed to be a fact or the truth. Is it possible that the truth extends beyond one viewpoint?
Think about how we could have avoided hundreds of years of violence if we had been more tolerant of each others beliefs. Even today we fight for our beliefs.
Love one anther and support each other as we explore ourselves and the world in which we live. Heaven is now. All that is needed is tolerance and understanding.

Can you place behavior above achievement? Why do this?
Achievement is more than often based in the future, not the present moment. It is only in the present moment that you will find peace.
Achievement is often self focused. However, behavior implies being aware of your surroundings and others besides yourself. Peace is a cooperative effort. That is you must recognize life outside of your mind in order to live in it.
Behavior shows a consideration of others. This brings about honesty, empathy, cooperation, etc.
Achievement implies using others and things as just a means to an end. It implies that this moment is not enough, that you are not enough.
Behavior brings about lasting peace. Achievement only brings about temporary fulfillment.

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the worlds problems.
- Mahatma Gandhi
Do not let yourself be guided by the authority of the sacred texts, nor by simple logic, nor by appearance or opinion, nor even by the teachings of your master; when you know in yourself that something is bad, then give it up, and accept the good and follow it.
- Buddha
The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It cant be organized or regulated. It isnt true that everybody should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.
- Baba Ram Dass
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
- Jesus
The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, `Lo, here it is!' or `There!' for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.
- Jesus
You have to be your own teacher and your own disciple.
- Jiddu Krishnamurti
Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or coerce people along any particular path. If you first understand that, then you will see how impossible it is to organize a belief. A belief is purely an individual matter, and you cannot and must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystallized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others.
- Jiddu Krishnamurti
